community participation

Help us to help you.....GET INVOLVED! community voice image

We take resident involvement very seriously. We are aware that collectively and individually, you make a real difference, not only to your own communities, but to policy development, decision making and service delivery.

Effective involvement is about providing a wide range of methods and opportunities to involve tenants, residents and leaseholders, at a pace and level that suits you.

To make sure there are a range of opportunities available, the we have developed 'Community Voice', a neighbourhood sounding board which lets you choose what you want to be involved in and how much you want to be involved.

Everyone can take part in 'Community Voice' as long as you are;

  • a current Shoreline tenant or leaseholder
  • any home owner, housing association tenant, private tenant and their families living within one of our neighbourhoods.

There are many ways in which you can become involved at a number of different levels including:

  • completing telephone/ postal or face-to-face surveys
  • attending discussion groups
  • carrying out surveys
  • joining your local Tenant and Resident Association
  • joining our editorial team looking at Shoreline News, our website and other publications
  • receiving and commenting on proposals and services via email
  • attending conferences, exhibitions and meetings
  • becoming a mystery shopper
  • interactive discussion via email and the website
  • taking part in Service Review Panels – reviewing Shoreline core services

Please fill in our online form and make that first step!
