creating communities to be proud of

Every month our neighbourhood officers join local residents and partnership agencies for a neighbourhood walkabout to make sure the area you live in is clean, safe and pleasant.
They look for maintenance issues or problems which will impact on the appearance of a neighbourhood or on your quality of life such as removal of abandoned cars, maintenance of overgrown trees, replacement street signs or reducing anti-social behaviour.
Some of these issues they don't deal with directly but they make sure they pass them on to North East Lincolnshire Council, the police or the appropriate agency.
In fact, between January and March this year they've been really busy and have resolved or passed on 299 issues across 15 of our neighbourhoods including:
You know your area even better than we do, so if you can spare a couple of hours each month to take part in your local walkabout then telephone your neighbourhood officer on 0845 849 2000 option 2 or simply complete the online form below and we'll get back to you.
