How to apply

You can contact them yourself or ask your landlord, employer or any agency who is working with you at present.

What happens next

They will arrange to meet you and find out what help you need and how often you would like us to visit you. They will write a support plan which sets out what help you can expect from them and what they need from you. They review support plans regularly and you can ask for help with other matters when you need it. You can also tell them at any time if you no longer want their support.

Support can be as short as a few weeks and can last for up to two years.

Once the support has ended you can re-apply at a later date if you need help again.

What else you need to know

  • The service is free to you because they are funded by North East Lincolnshire Council.
  • They have strict rules about confidentiality and will only share information with other agencies with your consent.
  • They can translate information for you.
  • If you are not happy with their service they will give you details about how to complain.
