funding bid consultation

We're asking East Marsh residents their views about a proposed funding bid to carry out insulation work to Nelson House multi-storey block.

We'd like the thoughts of Nelson House tenants and the wider area at two consultation events on Monday 9 January 2012.

The sessions will be held by Shoreline and a team of consultants and will focus on Nelson House, the area around the multi-storey blocks, Freeman Street, Victor Street and Kent Street.

If successful the funding will enable insulation work to be carried out to the outside of Nelson House, transforming the appearance of the block as well as improving thermal efficiency and comfort which should reduce tenant's heating bills.

Although work would cause minimum disruption, Shoreline would like to know tenant's views about the design and colour which will be incorporated into the bid.

This is a pilot initiative subject to funding and there is no guarantee that this bid will be successful. Any work will also be subject to planning permission being granted by North East Lincolnshire Council.

The consultation events will take place on:

Monday 9 January 2012
9.30am – 12.30pm
in the Nelson House foyer
Nelson House resident only

1.30pm – 4.30pm
at Freeman Street Resource Centre, Kent Street, Grimsby
