creating communities to be proud of

We welcomed hundreds of local residents to a free day of fun at our first ever flagship annual event.
Grimsby Auditorium was the place to be as Shoreline’s Big Day Out offered a range of activities and entertainment for all ages, with music, games and live demonstrations including climbing walls, balloon sculpture, dog agility and line dancing.
Tenants and residents found out more about what we do, how to get involved or simply took the chance to have a chat in person.
Employees from our partner organisations including North East Lincolnshire Council, Humberside Fire and Rescue and Linden Homes as well as our own departments were on hand to answer questions including our chief executive Tony Bramley in his very own makeshift living room.
Visitors got information, help and advice about a range of services including financial inclusion, benefits, energy saving, gas safety, shared ownership and health and wellbeing.
And we also used the event to get feedback on the recent Tenant Services Authority Local Offer Standards.
Shoreline business improvement manager Leigh Collingwood said: “We thought we’d take this opportunity to meet our tenants face-to-face, to give something back to them but also to learn more about the service they expect from us.
“It also gave us the chance to tell people about the services we offer, provide advice and support and celebrate what we have achieved so far.
“We welcomed all residents - not just our tenants - to come and spend the day with us and we’re so pleased that hundreds of local people have come along to enjoy themselves – it's been really successful - smiles all round!”
