a 'batter plaice' to live

We’re using the classic fish and chip supper in a series of unique consultation events this February to find out what tenants want from us..

Aimed at making ‘a batter plaice to live’ the events are being held across North East Lincolnshire in Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Immingham.

Groups of local tenants are discussing the Tenant Services Authority Standards for homes and communities – which all providers of social housing, including Shoreline must comply with.

Residents are deciding what they think are the most important things to measure particularly with regards to customer involvement, improvement work and anti-social behaviour, as well as how they would like to be kept informed.

And after all that discussion everyone sits down to enjoy a classic fish and chip supper.

“We are asking tenants what they feel is important about the services we provide.

“We want to reflect the needs of our communities and the best way for us to improve our services and make sure we meet customer needs is to speak directly to our tenants.

“We realise people aren’t always keen on attending meetings so we wanted the events to be informal. We are Shoreline, so what better than the seaside classic fish and chips to say thank you and get everyone involved.”
