launch of new non-emergency number
Humberside Police are to launch a non-emergency telephone number, on Friday 4 November.
People will be able to contact the force by dialling 101, as well as the 0845 6060222, from November 4
All 43 police forces in England and Wales are expected to have a 101 line by the end of March 2012.
Each call will cost 15p, regardless of its duration and whether the call is made from a landline or mobile
