creating communities to be proud of

We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Rastall as our new chair.

On her appointment Karen said: “I am delighted to have been appointed by the Board to this very important position. The challenges facing all housing associations today are immense and I hope that I can contribute to the success of Shoreline for the direct benefit of people living in North East Lincolnshire.”
Karen started her own accountancy practise in Lincoln 23 years ago and went on to expand into offices in Gainsborough, Nottingham and London, before entering into semi-retirement in March 2009.
Karen has also enjoyed working with non-government organisations across the world and is an active supporter of a number of charities.
Karen brings a wealth of experience and skills to the position.
Commenting on the role Karen added: “In taking on this role I would like to pay a particular tribute to Andrew Almond-Bell as both past chair and vice-chair for the massive contribution that he has made to the development of the organisation since 2004 and I am pleased that he will continue to serve on the Board.”
