creating communities to be proud of

Back in March we began consulting with tenants on a new version of our tenancy agreement. This was sent to all of our tenants and we held a number of roadshows across the borough for you to provide us with your comments and thoughts. Over the coming months all tenants will be sent a letter detailing the changes which have been made to the 'draft agreement' following on from the comments we received. You can download a copy of the letter from a link at the end of this article.
On the 24 May we will commencing a 15 week period where we will contact as many of our tenants as possible to ask them to sign the new agreement.
All staff carrying out the door knocking will have identification badges to identify them however if you are unsure please call 01472 572276 and we will confirm their details.
Appointments are not being made for this process and where tenants are not available we will call back once again. If we are unable to gain access after two attempts we will move on. Any tenants that are missed will have the opportunity to sign up to the new agreement at their annual tenancy visit with their neighbourhood officer or support officer.
If you have any questions about this process please contact Sarah Smaller on 01472 572276.
