first freshney green tenants move in

It’s the day we’ve all being waiting for.....our first tenants have moved into their eagerly awaited brand new state-of-the-art homes at our multi-million pound Freshney Green redevelopment.

The first two families moved into new three-bedroom homes built to Eco Homes Standard with a range of the latest environmentally friendly features - including solar panels - designed to generate clean power, save energy, cut fuel bills and reduce pollution.

Alongside award-winning developers Stamford Homes, we are transforming the neighbourhood into a high quality sustainable urban environment that will include new homes, a community eco-garden, gateway square, play area, traffic calming measures and newly completed health centre.

The first two families were welcomed into their completed homes at the 440-home redevelopment by the Shoreline neighbourhood team, Shoreline director of neighbourhood services Murray Macdonald and Stamford Homes managing director Brendan Blythe.

“I’m ever so excited and really looking forward to living here - it will be nice to finally get a nice permanent new home.”

“We want to create a neighbourhood that has a strong sense of community and these residents really share that vision.

“We have done everything possible to make the move as smooth and stress free as possible. The properties are modern, luxury homes and we are sure that everyone will be really happy here.”

Shoreline officer Nicola Reaich

“This marks the start of a new, exciting era for Stamford Homes and the residents of Freshney Green.

“We have been working with the residents throughout the planning and building process and are delighted that families are now benefiting from such a well-designed development, which has been built to high eco standards for the benefit of the residents and the wider community.”
