creating communities to be proud of

North East Lincolnshire Council has given the go-ahead for our plans to improve security for residents in the East Marsh multi-storey blocks.
The plan, which incorporates a range of ideas and views from residents, includes the installation of a two metre high bow top secure fence and access points and was approved by Councillors on November 25. It is now possible that work will commence at the end of January.
The security improvement will address resident concerns about crime and the fear of crime and tackle anti-social behaviour by securing rights of way and alleyways and creating a secure space around the high-rise blocks.
A series of six access points will provide secure rights of entry to residents and their visitors.
Each access point will have pedestrian gates adjacent to vehicle access gates. Dedicated fixed cameras will record entrances and exits along with the possibility of automatic number plate recognition.
And…..as previously promised in the local press, priority work has started on the installation of new door entry systems at both Tennyson and Bevan House.
