After completing his maximum five year term, Andrew Almond-Bell has stood down as chair of Shoreline.
Andrew was our first ever chair overseeing the tenant ballot in favour of transfer, pre-transfer negotiations with North East Lincolnshire Council and the creation of Shoreline in March 2005.
“Andrew has been extremely supportive of residents, employees and our work in the community.
“He will be greatly missed but thankfully not too much as he will continue to serve on the Board.”

Following an open recruitment process and advertisements in the local press, Alan Johnson has become the second chair.
Alan is a housing finance consultant and independent board member who first joined the Board in 2006/07 as a co-optee and was elected to the Board in 2007/08.
His appointment was subject to an interview and selection process involving a panel of board members and an independent governance advisor.
“I am extremely proud of our achievements from where we started through to present day.
“We have consulted, listened and above all are actively delivering on the promises we set in ‘the Offer Document’.
“We have a duty to the people of North East Lincolnshire to do our utmost to meet their housing needs, maintain sustainable communities and create places where people want to live.
“I truly believe that Alan will strive to build on the foundations that have been laid to date. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to have been chair for the past five years and I wish Alan well in his new role.”
