creating communities to be proud of

Shoreline employees celebrated a year of fundraising when they presented a cheque for over £6000 to St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice on Monday 6 August, 2007.
Staff have organised a series of fun events over the past year including fish and chip quiz suppers, a musical Ceilidh, and a Spring Ball at the Oaklands Hotel.
St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice was chosen by employees as the Chairs charity of the year because they felt the hospice really made a difference to the lives of local people.
The children’s hospice makes every day count - offering care to anyone who needs it and providing a real home from home for children and their families.
Shoreline’s Ann Maggs, who has helped organise the events throughout the year, said: “We are delighted with the success of the fundraising – this charity, along with many others within the local community, provides valuable support to children and their families, really improving the quality of people’s lives.
“We are staggered by the amount we have raised in such a short amount of time. We would like to thank everyone who has helped organise the events and all the employees, their family and friends, as well as our partnering agencies for supporting them.”
