creating communities to be proud of

A spectacular large scale DVD projection putting tenants in the picture lit up the East Marsh on Friday night.
The 30 foot projection onto the side of Tennyson House multi-storey marked the launch of our first tenant information DVD - Improving Your Home.
The innovative information package - hosted by Look North weatherman Paul Hudson - is an easy to understand visual guide to our £52 million pound investment programme.
We are carrying out improvement work to all tenants' homes bringing them up to the government's Decent Homes Standard by 2010.
The DVD takes tenants through the three stages of the improvement work - before, during and after.
All tenants will receive a copy of the DVD as the investment programme continues to move through all neighbourhoods across the borough.
Improvement work is due to start this month in the East Marsh and Nunsthorpe neighbourhoods.
Completed work has already been carried out to 1615 homes to date in Immingham, Willows, Grange/Crowland and West Marsh including the installation of over 1230 new kitchens, 986 bathrooms and 766 heating systems.
Shoreline Partnering Manager Sharon Brookes said:" No one likes to have to plough through lots of information and read lots of leaflets.
"Tenants can put on the DVD in the comfort of their own home, sit back and watch the simple and easy to understand guide at their own pace.
"From first hand experience tenants actually explain how to prepare for the work, what to expect and what their newly improved homes will be like.
"It's presented by a familiar friendly face but the process is explained by tenants for tenants."
The DVD is the first of many planned to provide information for our customers.
