creating communities to be proud of

“Life is local. Regardless of the comings and goings of the world, if you want to see real passion in everyday people like you and me, then try asking someone what could be done to improve their street, their school, their community or their neighbourhood. You will never fail to get an opinion, whether it’s positive or negative, everyone has a view, and quite rightly so. Our neighbourhoods and streets are important to us, it's where our children grow up, it's where our friends live, it's what we are involved with on a daily basis, and it is our absolute right to live in a clean, crime free, safe and secure, prosperous neighbourhood”
We agree with this statement wholeheartedly and it is for this reason that Shoreline will produce Neighbourhood Investment Plans for each of its fifteen neighbourhoods. These Investment Plans provide an Action Plan of activity and investment, and show how Shoreline will work with other agencies such as the Police and the Local Health Authority to tackle the issues that matter to you.
These Action Plans are based on what you, the communities of our neighbourhoods, have told us you would like to see and offer real opportunities for you to get involved in the decisions that affect your every day life.
Neighbourhood Investment Plans have already been written for five of our neighbourhoods. An executive summary of each plan can be downloaded from this site by clicking on the links below or alternatively the plans can be viewed in full at our Customer Service Centre.
