The project has the support of local residents with over 78 per cent voting for Stamford Homes to carry out this ambitious scheme which will completely regenerate and transform the 296-home estate to provide 440 modern new properties.
After resident consultation, we have committed to the following guarantees so that residents are clear about the options that are available to them.
- All Freshney Green tenants who wish to remain on the estate during and after the eight year redevelopment will be guaranteed a home once the development has been completed providing they have not breached their tenancy agreement.
- Any tenant who wishes to leave the estate will be able to move to another Shoreline property elsewhere in the borough and receive compensation payments of up to £4500 per qualifying household.
