creating communities to be proud of

Yarborough residents of all ages have been airing their views on a proposed new look for the multi-million pound revamp of their estate.
Proposals to turn the Grimsby estate into a modern housing showpiece for the town, with over 400 new homes, open spaces and local facilities, have been drawn up by ourselves and developer Stamford Homes.
And existing residents have been sharing their views on future plans.
An impressive turn out of residents - including some of the estate’s youngest - supported a series of workshops.
The provision of children’s play areas and open space - as well as what type of home people would like to see built - were among the key issues for discussion.
The workshops gave residents a better understanding of how the design of the scheme can positively affect their local living environment.
To encourage participation from all areas of the community, older children and teenagers were given disposable cameras to take pictures of places they hang out - and younger children were asked to draw a play scene of what they like to do and which equipment they use.
