First look at Freshney
The first state-of-the-art homes at Grimsby's Freshney Green have been unveiled.
Local residents were delighted as the eagerly awaited showhome was officially opened by David Curtis, regional director of the Homes and Communities Agency.
The homes - built by our award-winning partners Stamford Homes - boast en-suite bathrooms and luxury fitted kitchens.
All homes are also built to Eco Homes Standard with a range of environmentally friendly features designed to save energy, cut fuel bills and reduce pollution.
The multi-million pound redevelopment - on the site of the former Yarborough estate - is transforming the neighbourhood. As well as new homes the housing showpiece will include open spaces, a health centre, play area and traffic calming measures.
