Painting a bright future
The bright and positive future of Grimsby’s newest housing development has been unveiled – as seen through the eyes of local schoolchildren.
Alongside award-winning home builders Stamford Homes, we teamed up with talented youngsters from Yarborough Primary School in a competition to paint their vision of Freshney Green.
From the dozens of creative, imaginative and thought-provoking entries, three winners were selected from three age groups by judges from Stamford Homes and Shoreline.
The winners have had their paintings framed and made into hoardings to go up around the development.
“These are wonderful designs which show how positively the children are embracing the exciting future that is Freshney Green.
“They are transforming ordinary hoardings, brightening up the neighbourhood and providing something that the whole community can enjoy.”
