‘Master Plan’ poised for unveiling
Following extensive public consultation and workshops - Yarborough residents had the chance to see their ideas incorporated into a Master Plan for the area.
The Master Plan was presented at the Yarborough Resource Centre on Friday 27 April, when residents, planners and local councillors were invited to view the plan and give their views and opinions on it.
Tenants and residents of all ages have been encouraged to contribute their views to the overall look of the regenerated estate.
Dozens of people have supported a series of workshops, organised by Stamford Homes, Shoreline and architects Barton Willmore - with the Master Plan incorporating a range of ideas and concerns raised by the residents.
Stamford Homes North managing director Brendan Blythe said: “We are really excited to be able to present the master plan to the many people who have contributed to it.
“It has been encouraging to see so many residents embrace the plans which will bring a new lease of life to the estate. We feel that we - and the design team - are really beginning to get to know the residents and the issues of the estate well.”
