creating communities to be proud of

MICHELLE EDGE (Vice-Chair)
Michelle was born in Grimsby and brought up in Edge Avenue in Scartho. She's been a tenant for twenty-nine years, twenty-four of which have been on the Bradley Park estate where she still lives. Having three children and caring for her elderly parents, an interest in social awareness and tenants rights culminated in a change of policy with her then landlord, North East Lincolnshire Council, regarding a health and safey issue.
Since the transfer of the housing stock to Shoreline, Michelle has been involved in mystery shopping and attending various service review panels.
Michelle applied to become a tenant Board member through Shoreline's community voice and was elected at the annual general meeting in September 2009.
CHRIS WADE
Chris has been a tenant of social housing since 1982, when he moved into his first flat owned by Sheffield City Council. He became involved in the tenants movement in 1991, when moving to his second property.
When Sheffield Homes ALMO was formed in 2004, Chris stood for election and became an active member of the local board, and was re-elected in spring 2007 following the expiry of his original term. Chris moved into North East Lincolnshire and following a break of a year, he is now actively involved with the local tenants' and resident association. He chose to apply to become a board member following an advertisement in Shoreline’s quarterly tenants’ newsletter. Though now retired through ill health Chris spent his working life in the hospitality industry and as BR train-crew, latterly as a senior conductor on intercity trains operating between Sheffield and London St Pancras.
DAVID HOWIE
Dave was a member of the Shadow Board and subsequently Shoreline Board from 2003-2007.

Dave is currently working full time in the retail sector and has worked hard in achieving an extensive range of qualifications in Housing. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and works for the Government, on a part time basis as a Tenant Inspection Advisor.
